A few days ago, rising singer Ahmed Nihad dropped an incredibly emotional song in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. Aside from the fact that Ramadan triggers lots of emotions, such as feelings of nostalgia and family warmth, this time it’s different because of social distancing. As this has left everyone upset, Nihad’s Ramadan Gedeed was a beautiful attempt to uplift the spirits. 

With a simply-shot video and lyrics that spread positivity, the song is exactly the kind of energy we need right now. The song, which also features a verse by Yasser Rabie, is written by Nesma El-Shazly, and composed and arranged by Nihad. As for filming and directing, they’re the courtesy of Moustafa Adel.

The video also includes special appearances by Mohamed Abdel Moula, Omar Sharky, Gilan Alaa, Bakri Khaled Kabakibi, and Seif Zahran.
