Loren Allred’s Never Enough from the 2017 hit musical drama, The Greatest Showman, is hands down one of the most emotional soundtracks you’ll ever listen to. But you know what’s even better? It’s Mahmoud Shoukry’s cover of it (totally not exaggerating). 

Shoukry first unveiled his cover as a YouTube video back in early 2019. Fast-forward a year and a half later, and the song dropped on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, Deezer, and iHeart Radio! We just need to warn you; Shoukry’s soothing voice and the dreamy music will leave you stunned, and you’ll find it hard to stop hitting the replay button.

It’s great to see local talents grow in such various ways. Because if you don’t recognise Shoukry from his dance videos or recall his voice from the radio, then at least you’ve got to remember Star Academy 7’s Superman, unless you’re too young to have witnessed that, of course.
