If you’re up to date with the latest trends and what’s circulating the world wide web, then you’ve probably come across the awesome Dude With Sign. Seth Phillips and Elliot Tebele may have taken New York (and the entire world) by storm, garnering over 4 million followers on Instagram in four months, and an Egyptian fellow protestor (also with a sign) soon followed.

Unlike Dude With Sign, Abou Yafta (@egyptianwithsign) holds a whiteboard, keeping things more eco-friendly. He also chose to hide his face in pictures, keeping his identity a secret. The anonymous dude mentioned in an interview with Sada El Balad that he prefers to be known as Abou Yafta.

Nevertheless, he also shares humorous, protesting statements, but ones that are relatable to Egyptians.

Like taking a stand against using gum for change
