The people behind El Ghasala are giving us one more reason to be super excited for the film’s release this Eid Al Adha. New Century Production, one of the production companies behind El Ghasala, just dropped the official soundtrack for the movie, and it’s by none other than Wegz.
El Ghasala Daret has a laid-back chill beat and powerful lyrics, and most importantly, it’s super catchy, which is no stranger to a Wegz soundtrack. New Century Productions released the song on the currently trending social media platform, Tik Tok, but unfortunately, it’s just an intro and not the full song.

El Ghasala follows the story of a washing machine that lets you travel in time, which leads to lots of mishaps and arguments between the time travellers. The movie stars Mahmoud Hemeida, Ahmed Hatem Omar, Hannah El Zahed, Sherine Reda, Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Sallam, Ahmed Fathy, and more. It was written by Adel Salib, directed by Essam Abdelhamid, and co-produced by Synergy Films, New Century Production, and Misr International Films.
Only a few minutes after the song’s release, Wegz posted a video on his Instagram, addressing haters and delivering a message. He said that he’s not trying to be the best rapper in Egypt; he is, but just not necessarily for some people. “I’m not the kind of person who makes a hit song and gets hung up on it and keeps making its replicas, I’m not like that at all,” said Wegz as he explained that he’s just here to make music, which is what he loves, and explore different aspects of it.
